Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not create with ReelRedo, how we enforce it, and how to report a violation.

1. Scope

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you upload to ReelRedo (photos, names, occasions and other text), everything ReelRedo generates for you, and every link you share from ReelRedo. ReelRedo turns photos of real people into short AI videos, so it has stricter rules than a general creative tool.

2. Photos of real people and consent

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to appear in the video. You are responsible for obtaining that consent before you create or share a video.

Do not upload photos of anyone under 18 unless you are their parent or legal guardian, and never in any sexual, suggestive, violent or humiliating context.

Do not use ReelRedo to impersonate a real person in a way that could deceive viewers (deepfakes), including public figures, politicians and celebrities, or to make a video appear to be real footage of events that did not happen.

3. Prohibited content

You may not upload, request, generate or share content that falls into any of these categories:

Sexual or NSFW content of any kind, including nudity, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material, and non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII).

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes, grooms or endangers minors. We have zero tolerance: such content is blocked, the account is permanently banned without refund, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other competent authorities.

Violence and gore: graphic injury, torture, killing, or content that glorifies, threatens or incites violence, terrorism or violent extremism.

Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability or serious disease.

Harassment and bullying: content made to mock, intimidate, threaten, shame or target a specific person, or that reveals someone’s private information.

Self-harm: content that promotes or encourages suicide, self-injury or eating disorders.

Illegal, fraudulent or deceptive content: scams, fake endorsements, election or political misinformation, illegal goods or services, and content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights.

4. How we prevent misuse

Video scenes and styles on ReelRedo are written by us; you cannot submit a free-form video prompt. Every request passes automated content-safety checks at three points: the names and occasion you type and every photo you upload are checked before anything is generated, and the finished video is checked before you can see it. If an input is flagged, or a check is unavailable, the request is refused and no credits are charged. If a finished video is flagged, it is withheld and its credits are returned.

Our AI providers apply their own safety filters as well. Generated videos are private by default and are only visible to others if you create a share link, which expires after 7 days.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may take one or more of these actions: block the request; delete the content and disable its share links; suspend the account; permanently ban the account; forfeit remaining credits without refund; and report the matter to law enforcement or other authorities where required or appropriate.

Timelines: we acknowledge every report within 24 hours. Confirmed violations are acted on within 72 hours of the report. Suspected CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery and credible threats of violence are removed as soon as we confirm them, and we aim to do so within 24 hours.

If you believe we made a mistake, reply to our notice or email support@reelredo.com within 30 days to appeal. A person, not an automated system, reviews every appeal.

6. How to report a violation

Anyone can report content, including people who appear in a video without having agreed to it. Email abuse@reelredo.com with the share link (or a description of the video), what you believe is wrong, and, if the video shows you, a way to confirm that it is you. Every shared video page also has a “Report this video” link.

abuse@reelredo.com is reserved for content reports. For billing, account or privacy questions, contact support@reelredo.com. We do not reveal the identity of the person who filed a report to the reported user.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as our product and the law change. We update the date on this page when it changes, and the version in force when you create or share content applies.
